BTEC is an internationally recognised qualification operated as an accredited program of training. The advantages of academic accreditation are that the course materials can be benchmarked against similar training and provide assurance of a defined level of knowledge in the course of study. Our program of training is managed by a BTEC approved training centre called DAC Partnersbased in Wrexham, Wales. DAC also offer fire safety, health and safety and security training.
CS Associates work with DAC to provide a raft of training materials covering “Farm to Fork” management of food technology and food safety. Entry level to the program is a Level 3 BTEC Introduction to food safety management. After successfully completing this unit of training the learner can then select appropriate short courses at Level 4 to build equivalent learning hours (ELH) to achieve a pass merit or distinction qualification.
The last stage of the program is a Level 5 supervised business project where learners study the principles of project management and management of change. The project then provides them with a chance to prove that they can put them into practice.
